Bandar Seri Begawan - The Red Crescent Society's Brunei-Muara District Branch in collaboration with the Co-curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education, recently organised a religious ceremony at Dato Marsal Primary School Hall, Brunei II (A), to celebrate Israk Mikraj. The chief guest at the event was Awang Haji Kassim bin Haji Mohammad Yassin, the Acting Director of Co-curriculum Education.
Also present were Awang Jalil bin Pengarah Haji Kapitan, the Chief of Uniform Group Section, as well as other representatives ofthe National Red Crescent Society, Negara Brunei Darussalam Scout Association and Brunei Darussalam Girls Guide Association.
To enliven the celebration, a religious lecture was delivered by Ustaz Hisham bin Ismail of the Islamic Dakwah Centre.
