Red Crescent Club attached to hospital

LAST term, the Belait Red Crescent Association organised a holiday project for all secondary schools' uniform groups — Red Crescent, Girl Guides and Scouts.

They were attached to the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.

The objectives of the project are to encourage team work, impart nursing knowledge and create interest in the medical field.

St. John's School in Kuala Belait also participated in this event. They sent three of their Red Crescent members to be attached.

A five-day programme, members came in their uniform and the attachment start from 8am to 5pm everyday. The day before, they were briefed at the Lecture Hall of the hospital by the Red Crescent Officers. The participants were placed in ER, Record Room, Outpatient, Ward 3, 4, 10 and 11, Surgical Room, Day Center, Physical Room and Renal Room.
