Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society leadership has agreed to host the 11th SEA Organisational Development Forum. This forum will provide an opportunity for Red Cross and Red Crescent leaders from around the region to share experiences, challenges and ideas.
The agreement was made yesterday at a meeting with representatives from the International Federations of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
"This will be a significant moment for existing ties between the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society and other Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies," said Mr Malcolm Mckinlay, an International Red Cross delegate from Bangkok.
"I am delighted with this decision by the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society and I am sure it will be a successful event," he added.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin (via Brudirect.com)
